Lisa Olivia Munn was conceived in Oklahoma City. Kimberly Schmid was born in Vietnam and has Chinese origins, however her father Winston Barrett Munn comes from an American family. Her parents separated when she was two years old, and she was a child of her father and stepfather who was an active member of the United States Air Force. Even though the family moved out of Oklahoma and resided in many places, she was educated in Tokyo, Japan. At this point, she appeared in a number of local theater productions, and then was a model in the Japanese fashion business. Olivia was a model who relocated with her family to Los Angeles in order to fulfil her dream to be an actress was determined to pursue that goal even after her family moved back to America. She began her acting career by playing a minor part. Her career then took off when she was cast in the role of Mily Acuna in the Hawaii-lensed television show Beyond the Break (2006). In 2007 she portrayed Rob Schneider's Receptionist. She is the host of "The Daily Nut" as well as"Formula D" on G4 "Formula D" Podcasts on G4. The passion she has for surfing is something she's continued following the television show Beyond the Break. Additionally, she holds a black belt in Taekwondo. At the age of two, her mother married again however this time to an US Air Force member. In spite of the fact that the family moved around a frequently, her mother was raised in Tokyo which she shared within the military. She studied journalism at the University of Oklahoma and also minored Japanese, dramatic arts and drama.
