Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco, a Canadian-American singer and songwriter. She has released more than 20 albums. DiFranco classifies her music under the terms folk-rock and alternative. However, it contains influences such as punk, hip-hop and jazz. The widely regarded feminist icon Grammy winner Ani DiFranco is the mother of the DIY movement being one of the pioneers to establish her own label the year 1990. DiFranco has two daughters: Elizabeth (Ross), and Dante Americo DiFranco. They began their relationship at The Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The parents of her mother and father were both from Montreal descent. The song by Ani, 32 Flavors was written by her, and performed by Ani. This song was released in 1995 on the sixth album Not a Pretty Girl. A variation of the song appears on the movie soundtrack of the 1999 Canadian love story Better Than Chocolate. In 2013, DiFranco apologised after it was discovered that she planned to host an event for three days in the former Louisiana plantation for slaves. It was postponed however, some (including the media) didn't think it was a sign of regret. DiFranco apologized a couple of days later. While she's been referred to by the name of Little Folksinger her music has embraced many kinds of genres and collaborates from Pete Seeger to Chuck D to Prince. New Orleans is where she is based. Ani diFranco as well as Kristen Ford are together. In 14 years she began making her own songs. They were performed in bars and coffeehouses throughout her teenage years. DiFranco started attending Buffalo State College when she was 16 years old. She graduated the Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts when she was just 16 years old. Ani's baritone is a customized Alvarez guitar, which was designed after several meetings with Chrys who was an Alvarez representative of the artist at the time. It comes with the System 600 preamp and has every solid wood available, including a top of mahogany, a cedar top and sides and an ebony fretboard. DiFranco reside in New Orleans, with her family, which includes her husband and two sons. Lefty is their dog companion who comes and goes while she talks. DiFranco says she is ambivalent regarding the notion of looking at her career backwards, even if it's been more than three years. Ani DiFranco was a pop/punk singer-songwriter at 25 when her album Not A Pretty Girl hit the charts. Dilate, released in 1996, achieved even greater popularity amongst people who love. The song Brandy (You're a Fine Girl) is a song released in 1972 from the American pop group Looking Glass from their debut album Looking Glass.
