April Bowlby

April Bowlby is an American actress and model. She has portrayed Kandi as part of the CBS comedy Two and a Half Men, Stacy Barrett in Drop Dead Diva and Rita Farr in Titans and Doom Patrol. April Michelle Bowlby was born in New York City. She is best known for her portrayals as Stacy Barrett and Kandi on Two and a Half Men as well as Drop Dead Diva, a legal comedy/fantasy drama/comedy series. The model began her career in modeling then moved on to films and TV. She made her first appearance on the small screen as an actor in the series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. This came with appearances in one-off episodes on other shows. Her most memorable part was Kandi, in Two and a Half Men. Bowlby gained international recognition with the Stacy Barrett role in Drop Dead Diva. Bowlby played the role of Rita Farr/Elastigirl for the American web-series Titans. The spin-off series Doom Patrol will see her reprise her role as the character. Bowlby was also seen on TV in films such as Sands of Oblivion, The Wrong Daughter and Sands of Oblivion 2. Following her studies in ballet and French at Moorpark College, Bowlby decided to pursue an acting profession. After studying drama under Ivana Chubb, she got a leading role (Kandi in Two and a Half Men), within months of making her Hollywood debut. Bowlby has appeared on a number of TV series, including CSI in 2004. CSI: NY as of 2005. Freddie and Freddie in 2005, as Sydney as Sydney, and How I Met Your Mother in 2007 in the role of Meg. Bowlby's most recent role was Natasha who was a 12-year-old girl that lost her mother due to the result of an accident in her car. Bowlby plays Mia on the set of The Slammin Salmon a 2008 comedy. She resides in Los Angeles. Her hair is naturally red as well as blue eyes. She's not married and has no children.
